1. Welcome / Acceptance
Welcome to LinkUp (“LinkUp,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), a social connection platform available at www.thelinkupzone.com and through our related web and mobile applications (the “Service”).
By accessing, registering for, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted with an updated “Last Updated” date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Eligibility and Age Requirements
LinkUp is intended for users who meet the minimum legal age required in their country or region:

You represent that you meet applicable age requirements, have legal capacity to enter a binding agreement, are not prohibited from using the Service, and that registration information you provide is accurate and current.
3. User Accounts and Security
To access certain features, you must create an account with a valid email address, password, and/or approved third-party sign-in method. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials, all activity under your account, and notifying us promptly at admin@thelinkupzone.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
We are not liable for losses arising from unauthorized account use where you failed to protect your credentials.
4. Global Access and Local Law Compliance
LinkUp may be accessed globally. We may infer your general region from information you provide, IP address, device settings, or similar signals to apply eligibility rules, display notices, support safety, and improve localization.
You remain solely responsible for complying with all laws applicable to you, including laws governing online content, communications, employment, commerce, privacy, and data use.
5. User Conduct and Content Standards
You agree to use LinkUp lawfully and respectfully. You must not:
- Violate applicable local, national, or international law;
- Harass, threaten, abuse, defame, stalk, or discriminate against others;
- Post illegal, obscene, exploitative, hateful, violent, fraudulent, or infringing content;
- Impersonate others or misrepresent affiliation;
- Upload malware, scrape the Service, or interfere with its operation;
- Harvest personal data without consent and lawful basis;
- Use the Service for spam, fraud, or unauthorized advertising; or
- Circumvent safety, moderation, reporting, or blocking features.
6. Chat, Audio, Video, and Communication Features
LinkUp offers real-time features including direct and group messaging, voice notes, online presence indicators, and audio/video communication. These features may transmit personal data and media in near real time.
You must not use communication features for unlawful, harmful, or abusive conduct. You must not record, redistribute, or publish private communications without consent where required by law. You use real-time features at your own risk and must comply with applicable telecommunications and privacy laws.
7. User-Generated Content
You may create, upload, publish, and share content including posts (“Sparks”), comments, profile information, images, videos, voice notes, messages, group content, marketplace listings, job posts, and events (“User Content”).
You retain ownership of your User Content, subject to the license below. You are solely responsible for your User Content and its consequences.
By submitting User Content, you grant LinkUp a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, perform, distribute, and use your User Content solely as necessary to operate, provide, improve, and secure the Service, including backup, moderation, and technical delivery.
8. Intellectual Property Rights
The Service, including software, design, branding, logos, and underlying technology, is owned by LinkUp or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. Except for rights expressly granted in these Terms, no license is granted to you.
“LinkUp,” “thelinkupzone.com,” and related marks are trademarks of LinkUp. You may not use them without permission except to refer to the Service factually.
If you believe content infringes your copyright, contact admin@thelinkupzone.com with identification of the work, infringing material, your contact information, and a good-faith statement of unauthorized use.
9. Country-Specific Legal Notices
European Union and United Kingdom
If you are in the EU or UK, LinkUp processes personal data under GDPR and UK GDPR. You may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection as described in our Privacy Policy. You may lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
United States and California Residents
If you are a U.S. resident, including California: we do not sell your personal information under CCPA/CPRA and do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You may have rights to know, access, delete, and correct personal information. See our Privacy Policy.
GCC and Middle East Residents
If you are in the GCC or Middle East, you must comply with applicable local laws relating to electronic communications, content standards, consumer protection, employment, and commercial activity. We will honor applicable privacy and consumer requests to the extent required by law.
10. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal information. By using LinkUp, you acknowledge that policy.
11. Safety, Moderation, and Enforcement
We may review, remove, restrict, or disable User Content or accounts that violate these Terms, applicable law, or community standards. We may respond to valid legal requests and user reports. We are not obligated to monitor all content but may act to protect users and the platform.
12. Third-Party Services
The Service may include links, integrations, or content from third parties (such as sign-in providers or user-posted material). We are not responsible for third-party services, products, or content. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation, or that User Content will be accurate or reliable.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LinkUp and its operators, affiliates, officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) amounts you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
15. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and may request account deletion through in-app settings or by contacting admin@thelinkupzone.com.
We may suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms or applicable law, created legal exposure, engaged in fraud or abuse, or are no longer eligible. Upon termination, your access ends immediately and we may delete or retain data as described in our Privacy Policy and as required by law.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on the Service with an updated “Last Updated” date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance unless applicable law requires otherwise.
17. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, except where mandatory consumer or data protection laws in your country of residence require otherwise.
Subject to mandatory local law, disputes arising from these Terms or the Service are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in the United Arab Emirates, unless applicable law requires resolution in your country of residence.
Nothing limits your right to bring claims before a competent consumer or data protection authority where such rights cannot be waived by contract.
